Jerry Curran Memorial Scholarship

On January 5th, 2022, Jerry Curran passed away from a long battle with sarcoidosis after a lung transplant. He was only 55 years old. Jerry grew up in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. He attended Saint Bernard School and Father Judge High School. He was an All Catholic and All State defensive end during his time at Father Judge.

The Jerry Curran Memorial Foundation seeks to identify Student athletes to attend Father Judge High School and play football who are in good academic standing, as well as in financial need with a proven record of helping others within his own community.

Scholarship winners will exemplify the same traits we all saw in Jerry. These traits include: a strong sense of friendship and commitment, scholastic achievement & service to the community.

We appreciate your generous support as we turn his untimely passing into something positive that will continue to honor Jerry’s memory long into the future.

We will inform and educate the community highlighting the benefits of Organ Donation.

Mission Statement

To remember and honor a fellow Father Judge alumnus, father, brother, husband,  uncle and friend by helping students in the community fulfill their hope of playing football at Father Judge.
